This past Monday September 7th 2015, the Borough of Rutherford hosted its annual Labor Day Street Fair.
Many people all over the neighboring towns came together to share this wonderful event. The weather was full of sun and clear skies. All along Park Avenue there were different kinds of tents set up with various things for sale and amusement ranging from old artifacts, food, comic books, karaoke, and puppet shows.
Rutherford EMS was present throughout the entire fair assisting pedestrians when an emergency presented itself. The EMS staff had a well-organized system for giving optimal care to anyone present at the fair. Band-Aids were given to pedestrians with minor cuts and ambulance rides were given to the elderly who exhausted their legs and needed assistance returning home.
The Rutherford First-Aid ambulance Corp would like to send a greeting in honor of Labor Day to hard workers everywhere, keep on working!
